Alumni Association, College of Agriculture, Raichur in association with Directorate of Extension, under NAHEP Project, organized Sensitization workshop on “Agripreneurship and Startups for Experiential Learning” students as part of Experiential Learning on 8th March 2021at UASR. The Chief Guest Dr. R.B. Sharma, National Coordinator, NAHEP, ICAR, New Delhi highlighted the importance of Agripreneurship and Startups for agricultural graduates. Further, he stressed the students to prepare themselves to develop professional skills to start their own business activities under current agriculture scenario. Dr. D.M.Chandargi, Director of Extension and PI NAHEP-IG, narrated the importance of the project and advised the students to develop skills to start their own enterprise for their better future in agriculture sector. Dr. M.G. Patil, Director of Education in his presidential remarks explained how students can shape up their future by putting hard work, dedication and commitment. The programme was graced by Dr. Satyanarayanrao, Dean (PGS) and Dr. M. Bheemanna, Dean (Agri.), College of Agriculture, Raichur. Dr. Gururaj Sunkad, ADR, Raichur and President, Alumni Association, welcomed the guests and delegates and the programme was concluded with vote of thanks by the Dr. Pampanna Y. General Secretary, Nearly 210 final year B.Sc. (Agri.) students participated in the workshop.
